I want to dance like them.

this will be my motto for a long time.

OK! So for those who know, i went to MJ chalet, thus the tiredness and shagness and sore throat.. and the craziest thing was how much fun it was!!! i was expecting fun, but not that much! and it was REALLY fun!!

Surprise One: We had to break into different groups and there would be a junior's showcase on the second night!!

Surprise Two: Ok, so not a big surprise, but there was to be a DANCE BATTLE amongst the wonderful seniors too!

Surprise Three: Patrick Loo was going to come down and watch!!

Surprise Four: OMG! The seniors can dance! and they dance so well, i really don't feel like i can dance like them..

Surprise Five: People were accepting of me and so like me! Grooving, dancing, wiggling, having fun!

there's a video of me dancing out there on youtube, but i don't wanna share that with you, cos i think its really nothing compared top the seniors', but hey! it was fantastic to dance with emomomowoo!!!

NOW that i've got you baited, i wanna post this video of what i thought was the best performance that night! and i love Mov's Spin!!

Hi,

I don't know from how and i don't know from when,
that things have turned out the way they do.

I want to thank you for trying to be the cheerful one,
the one who wants to sms and the one who wants to smile.
I'm not as strong as you.

It's another year for you!
and you're no longer a teenager!

I don't know what will happen in future,
but all i know is that what we had was something real.

So i was trying to read in jane's room again, avoiding the boring room that my room turns into when my roomie falls asleep.. and we started!

So i wanted to draw something to ask her chillax!
But she came back with the one on the right.

Then i had to use my secret weapon i used in JC lit class! haha.. a method which irritated the hell outta everybody! Hee Hee...

And it was here i thought i won the battle! But then she played this song! and OMG! i lost...

Hi MJ babies,

Firstly, CONGRATULATIONS!!

You guys have successfully made the cut to NTU MJ HIP HOP DANCE CLUB! We warmly welcome you to our big family and we are so excited to meet all of you in person.

Out of 180 people who came for the auditions last Thursday, about 70 people got selected and you guys are one of them!

We witnessed a wide variety of talents, dance styles and personalities. It was indeed a considerable feat to pick out the outstanding performers among those who went for audition.

We would like to take this opportunity, right from the beginning, to emphasize the ultimate importance of attendance and commitment to the club. Do remember there were many others who vied for your spot and you guys were the chosen ones! Therefore, it is much appreciated that you turn up regularly and on time. We assure you, you will have a great time with us!

We bet you must be itching all over to start dancing and attending practices( =P) Your first practice begins this coming Thursday, 4 September 2008 at Nanyang House Dance Studio. Nanyang House is the building at the top of Nanyang Hill opposite canteen 2 bus stop. The dance studio is situated at level 3 and will promptly begin at 630pm. Please come in comfortable attire and shoes ( preferably in track pants and NO jeans, skirts, flip flop or sandals!). Patrick Loo, our resident dance instructor, will be leading your practices.

However, some of you might still be having lessons at 630pm. It's alright to turn up late this time but please be in proper attire and ready to join the class, as soon as possible. For those whose classes clash with weekly MJ practice every Thursday at 630pm, please inform me either by replying to this email or during practice this Thursday. Lastly, remember to take down your attendance, especially if you are late.
